This. Also, he was seen walking around the lockerroom after the game without any brace or anything. So that further adds credibility to the hip flexor or rib theory.

Vitale pretty much thinking the same...a week or two if minor...that's right on the cusp of a round 1 game 1.

If it's short term this isn't a bad thing. You certainly get to see Snuggy in a few more games. It gives Holloway a little rest before the playoffs.

Well let's hope it's minor for sure. He plays hard and clean and fearless with amazing bounce back ability. A bit of a rest will be good for him anyway. Would prefer it be on his/our own terms after the playoff spot is set...next man up. Joseph plays very similarly, just without anywhere near the skill. I kind of feel that I would lean more toward him over Texier in games needing speed and intensity and adjust the lines to get Bolduc into one of the top two scoring lines to fill Holloway's void for now.
I have faith in the Coach's decisions.

I don't like McGroarty. He's a punk.

Monty says Holloway might miss "the next couple of games". Sounds like the Blues dodged a bullet.

The Holloway injury might be a cumulative thing. He took a very heavy hit into the boards at the players bench a 2 or 3 games ago. I was surprised then he didn't miss a shift. The contact was similar to last nights hit, so his ribs or something else could have already been very sore.

What I read was that he was still with the doctor and won't be available for the next couple of games. Hopefully not, but that leaves all possibilities open including a much longer injury.

Not sure what you are saying...Frank said Monty said....he might miss the next couple of games.

What are you reading into with the doctor comment?

Here's context to the Holloway injury announcement:

Monty said that he won't play Saturday or Monday, thus he's listed as day-to-day. But he's at the doctor's office being evaluated, so that status could change based on the information he gets there. #stlblues
Doesn't sound like we are out of the woods yet boys.

Well dog snot. I was all excited when I saw the post……which was an X post from the Blues. I hope they didn’t jump the gun.

Hopefully the post from the Blues was the more recent one and Rutherford and company haven't caught up.

I way prefer your post Frank

That’s some hard hitting Pulitzer Prize journalism right there by JR. If it’s not serious the blues dodged a bullet. Thank God for reporting like that. I would never been able to piece that together.
