Kenny Rogers 2006 season was one I always thought was conspicuous. Seemed odd to me that he was a soft toss lefty most of his career then suddenly is throwing 90+ as an old man in 2006. Then of course there was the foreign substance on his right hand while pitching against the Cards in the WS. Fortunately, none of their pitcher could make a throw to first base.
