I like this lineup a lot vs the LHP.

Maybe Gorman plays tomorrow and Wednesday.

Hope so. However, Gorman's got no one to blame but himself for this situation. He swung right through every last drop of trust he'd built up last season.

A very weak ST didn't help either. But man I hope he can keep hitting like he started show in 23. He's got MVP power if he can recognize pitches and stop swinging at everything.

The vs starter splits are misleading and useless. Baseball reference states that it is not numbers vs the dtarting litcher but just the numbers during a game where the pitcher who started was left handed and includes at bats vs relievers after regardless of what hand they throw with.

Essentially, gorman if he is subbed in later vs a righthanded reliever, those at bats will count for his vs lefthanded starter numbers- even though he never faced the lefthanded starter.



The splits is useless and only used to be a proxy fornlefty righty sllutus for older players cuz they lack play by play data for old players
