Yeah, but they look good.Monsieur De Treville wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 08:55 amAfter 3 games?Bully4you wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 03:16 am Yes, quite a weekend.

Whoop A z z.
Lovely if I might say so myself.
Cards are back, no more talk of rebuilding and
they are looking to steam roll the other members
of this division.
Everyone had better revise their predictions.
Including me, I had them for 78 wins.
These guys look more like 90.

he didn't Trade Arenado.
Hell, they might be buyers at the deadline!!
I didn't think that was a dynamite start in 2023?stormtime wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 08:33 amI might caution you to slow down just a tad. This is an impressive start that nobody saw coming. However, as I recall, they had a dynamite start in Toronto to begin '23......with claims of being able to play with the Braves coming up....only to suffer one of the worst seasons in recent Cardinal history.Bully4you wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 03:16 am Yes, quite a weekend.

absolutely, they look good. But it's still only 3 games. I need to see a lot more before I revise my prediction, thank you very much.Bully4you wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 10:41 amYeah, but they look good.Monsieur De Treville wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 08:55 amAfter 3 games?Bully4you wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 03:16 am Yes, quite a weekend.

It's been so long since we've
been able to feel positive.
I'm enjoying the hell out of this one.
How many teams are undefeated?
Not many.
Even if they gave a great season you can’t just let them walk at seasons end. Nado is a different case.rockondlouie wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 08:40 am I'll stick to this:

I wonder Hullie, what if this team really does well and wins the NLC (and not dealing Helsley or Fedde), then would they consider trying to extend both?hullie wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 11:35 amEven if they gave a great season you can’t just let them walk at seasons end. I honestly can’t see that happening. It’s not what they typically do especially with a closer.rockondlouie wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 11:40 amI wonder Hullie, what if this team really does well and wins the NLC (and not dealing Helsley or Fedde), then would they consider trying to extend both?hullie wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 11:35 amEven if they gave a great season you can’t just let them walk at seasons end. If they’re winning the division and they’re both putting up really good seasons, I don’t see how they deal them. And they might even extend them.hullie wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 11:35 amEven if they gave a great season you can’t just let them walk at seasons end. Under no circumstances should they extend Arenado. He is under control thru 2027 already and will be 37 in 2028. Let him play out his contract at best.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 11:46 amIf they’re winning the division and they’re both putting up really good seasons, I don’t see how they deal them. Well I didn’t think they were talking Nado, it was more Fedde/Helsley. I think if Fedde proves last year was no fluke, then maybe a 3-4 year deal could happen. He’ll be 32 years old all year this year, so 33 when he starts the new deal. I think a lot could depend on how Mathews/McGreevy progress and how Liberatore does.AZ_Cardsfan wrote: ↑31 Mar 2025 11:51 amUnder no circumstances should they extend Arenado. On Helsley assuming he repeats last year OK but nothing long. Closers have a bad tendency of suddenly losing whatever made them special. Hesley could be an exception but vegas odds are against it.
