The trollin' was good around here the past few seasons. They were sitting pretty enjoying the good life, fat and happy off all the frustration and underachievement. Now, suddenly, in the blink of an eye, it's gone, and if things continue like Army has planned, might be gone for a LONG time.
They can't handle it. Withdrawal has kicked in.

I merely said, if they make the P[ositively] O[bnoxious] S[impleton], I will give even odds on them against the top-seed.Cardsfanforlife wrote: ↑19 Mar 2025 10:42 amwell i do agree they are probably playoff bound, but to say they would be able to knock off the jets confidently , is pretty silly.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑19 Mar 2025 01:02 am You are an

Barring more injuries, this team will make the playoffs and I give them even odds to win the first round against the first seed.
You don’t truly see that this has been a very, very good team for a month or more and will only get better next year…
It is sad that you cannot see, nor understand the game.

I ain't crazy. I'm just trusting the way the team plays and responds to adversity.
And, for the record, Confidently is the only way any of this can happen.

nah those clowns just go away and then come back picking on some minutia that is low hanging fruit at the time. I'll never forget the merry go round of targeting players the 22 season, and inevitably the player would pop off following it. So the posters would just move to the next player hoping it stuck. They tried saying that ROR was unhappy with his playing time because the Blues were drilling teams down that stretch. And then ROR goes in the playoffs and logs heavy minutes and plays great. Was hilarious. Still Laughing.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑19 Mar 2025 11:56 am The trollin' was good around here the past few seasons. Anyways, it's just a matter of time. They already prepped their playbook. Blues don't get in - wasted season and draft pick and Army is terrible. Blues get in and get bounced - wasted season and draft pick and Army is terrible. Win a 1st round - wasted season and draft pick and Army is terrible. Only thing that shuts the trolls up is a Stanley Cup win. And even then they will say should have traded Parayko when he had maximum value. Can't make this stuff up. Clownshow.
Meanwhile, it's fun to post in these threads. It's funny to see how far someone will sell themselves off to show how they don't care about the team or its players. Every time I see a poster just actively wasting their time on a community message board dedicated to a community, and they are anti that community, it's worthwhile to relish in their failures and poke and prod their ideocracy. It's why TBone is funny. The show being run over at the old NFL forums were hilarious. And a few of these numbskulls had their feelings hurt when their socks were being exposed.

In your favor, playoff Winnipeg is different that regular season Winnipeg. I won’t say we’d win but I give us a puncher’s chanceHarry York 37 wrote: ↑19 Mar 2025 12:05 pmI merely said, if they make the P[ositively] O[bnoxious] S[impleton], I will give even odds on them against the top-seed.Cardsfanforlife wrote: ↑19 Mar 2025 10:42 amwell i do agree they are probably playoff bound, but to say they would be able to knock off the jets confidently , is pretty silly.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑19 Mar 2025 01:02 am You are an

In the playoffs there is always a chance, especially for hot teams with a hot goaltender. See Boston a couple of seasons ago, Columbus-TBL, the Leafs any year, and the Blues in 2019. Besides, the competition is spirited.netboy65 wrote: ↑19 Mar 2025 12:10 pmIn your favor, playoff Winnipeg is different that regular season Winnipeg. Re: Dear Suckers, tis the Season for the Blues to spoil their draft position
We tend to default automatically to Buffalo since they are the poster child for it, but let's look at another team Philadelphia.
Since 2013 the Flyers have missed the playoffs 9 out of 12 years. In the years they missed the playoffs here are their drafts
2014 The #17
2015 the #7
2017 the #2
2021 no 1st rounder
2022 the #5
2023 the #7
2024 the #13
No top 50 players (since that seems to be the only way to determine if the draft pick is any good)
No discernable difference makers (although they did get Owen Power and he is absolutely a keeper)
They will likely finish in last place in their division and have a top 5 pick
Now someone please explain to me how having 3 years of top 5 picks, 2 #7's, and the lowest pick in the missed playoff seasons being #17 has helped them out?
What discernable difference has it made for them?
It has far more to do with scouting, development, team structure, and team philosophy. If you let a losing culture seep in where management is not only expecting, but encouraging losses well the players tend to take it to heart as they will still get paid.

Different sport, same message.

Hello?

Hello?

Same here. They are so fun to watch, especially seeing players "get it" (Neighbours, Holloway, Bolduc). And I've never seen Kyrou so engaged.
I'm fired up on every gameday.
Re: Dear Suckers, tis the Season for the Blues to spoil their draft position
Would I put myself in the crowd that wanted a better pick? Absolutely. Never would have made the Fowler trade and just let the season play out. I'm not a tank guy but I wouldn't have rescued the team either by getting some help. I don't think they're in it with how bad the D was playing back then and Fowler really helped stabilize things. Really impressed that losing CP, who was having a top 10 Dman season, didn't tank them either as Leddy/Faulk have stepped it up.
Am I happy the Blues are winning and making a playoff push? Absolutely! It's always fun for our boys to be in the mix. Hope they get in and knock the #1 off and keep on trucking.

OP sends paragraph long explanations for fantasy hockey trade proposals.

Ive never called for Civil War
Ive never posted a trade proposal
Good day, Gentleman
