Vs RH

CF Scott
RF Noot
1B Contreras
3B Arenado
LF Donovan
DH Burleson
C Herrera
2B Gorman
SS Winn

Vs LF
SS Winn
LF Noot
1B Contreras
3B Arenado
2B Donovan
C Herrera
DH Baker
RF Walker
CF Scott
Winn is not a leadoff hitter.

Repeat after me...

Winn is not a leadoff hitter.

Noot should leadoff

I have seen very little of ST just looking at the box scores.
Scott clearly having a better Spring.
However.....if they plan to give Noot a shot in CF then I would start Scott at AAA to get more AB’s.
To me he has the higher ceiling.
Let Siani be the back up to start.

Neither Vic nor Siani can hit so Noot will be given every opportunity to be the starting CFer. In that case, it is blatantly obvious to have Siani make the team as backup CFer and defensive replacement while Vic goes back to AAA to get regular reps and see if he's figured out how to hit AAA pitching yet.

If yo think Vic can me a legit MLer, he needs to keep developing in the minors.

At this point, they are the same player although I'd say Siani is the better defensive player at this point.
No.

No one remembers Scott "EARNING" a spot last year, including you.

Scott was given the assignment because of injuries to the IGNITER, Edman, and Carlson.

Now, a year later, Scott has shown improvement necessary to say he is worthy of being here.
Who\what is 'IGNITER' and why are they\it in all caps?

Agree with this thinking. If VS2 isn't starting almost every game, then he goes to AAA
Why?

There will be plenty of reps even if there is a pseudo time share.

This does point to the organizations failure to move Arenado though and the consequences
If this team is such a failure why did average 90 wins over 14 full seasons from 2008-2022. You think by keeping mentioning this you can re-write history.
And averaged 74 wins in '23 and '24. See how that works?
You may need to check your math.

Gorman hasn’t proven he can hit worth a [shirt] but that hasn’t stopped him from getting a fourth year to show he isn’t worth a [shirt].

Of players on Cards with at least Spring Training 30 ABs: Scott most hits, most runs, most stolen bases, highest Average, highest OBP, highest OPS.

Added muscle, improved pitch recognition, more controlled swing, etc..

IMO his Spring performance trumps a rough start last season because of the changes he made in the off season.
