Noot could probably get hurt playing rummy in the clubhouse........rockondlouie wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 10:13 amI've heard rumblings they're afraid Noot will get hurt playing CF.
Siani should be on another team. Scott should be playing CF.rockondlouie wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 08:46 am Spring stats are meaningless................unless you're bringing back almost the same lineup that struggled to hit last season too.
Spring rankings:
BA: Last
OB%: 7th from the bottom
slg%: 4th from the bottom
OPS: 4th from the bottom
Hits: Last
Runs: 4th from the bottom
I had high hopes for B. Brown but he can't turn a sows ear (sans WillyC, Hererra, Noot and Donny) into silk purses.

Missed nothing, the "unless" was addressed above.General wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 17:57 pmI guess you’re missing the “unless” which negates that. I would rather they were all batting 1.000 but I’m not about to get my panties in a wad over the current situation.rockondlouie wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 10:11 amGuess you missed the first line:
"Spring stats are meaningless.............."
And spring stats do matter for young hitters, you kinda want to see some improvement....right?![]()

100%, Sinai is a waste of a roster spot on this team.CCard wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 08:22 amSiani should be on another team. Winn will be okay.
Pages is a backup and won't deliver much hitting.
Nado is a conundrum. How he dropped off so much is worrisome indeed. Hopefully he can right the ship.
Norman- Gorman? He's way too pull heavy. Pitchers see this and give him steady changeups low in the and out of the zone. Until/if he starts hitting to all fields the strikeouts will continue. Simple. Lay off the low pitches and try to hit to all fields. Don't worry about homeruns. Take your shot but then adjust and make contact. Yadi was great at that approach.
Walker - we'll see.
Noot - I'm just not sold on Noot. I know he's got some good numbers but he doesn't seem to be a power hitter or a high average hitter.
The cupboard has some pieces in it but Mo and his inept minor league player development system has wasted years of draft picks.Bully4you wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 08:37 amUnreal.rockondlouie wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 08:46 am Spring stats are meaningless................unless you're bringing back almost the same lineup that struggled to hit last season too.

They have a rebuild with no material to build from.
I mean all their supposed "Young Talent" suck big donkey
It's pathetic.
Afraid Noot gets hurt playing CF……I’ve heard it all now. Will they tell him to drop it a gear……then Oli ream his (bleep) the first week of season for not running “hard” around 3rd??rockondlouie wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 08:35 amNo doubt12xu wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 08:01 amNoot could probably get hurt playing rummy in the clubhouse........rockondlouie wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 10:13 amI've heard rumblings they're afraid Noot will get hurt playing CF.

From what Bernie reported last season he told BDWJr straight up he'd never seen a bigger mess and a franchise so far behind most of MLB.Goldfan wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 08:44 amDoesn’t seem like a serious baseball org does it…..wonder what Bloom really thinks about this situationrockondlouie wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 08:41 amThe cupboard has some pieces in it but Mo and his inept minor league player development system has wasted years of draft picks.Bully4you wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025 08:37 amUnreal.rockondlouie wrote: ↑11 Mar 2025 08:46 am Spring stats are meaningless................unless you're bringing back almost the same lineup that struggled to hit last season too.
