The Battlehawks need a QB to get them over the top after the departure of AJ McCarron.

Drew Lock will be a free agent and is clearly not an NFL QB (TWO pick-6's last week against ATL. Ouch).

The Battlehawks have come close every year but just need a better QB to get them to the promised land. Mizzou star Drew Lock has valuable NFL experience but has no future there. Would he come home to try and win a championship for the local fans? He's already made $15 million and if he doesn't get another NFL offer, watch out. The season is right around the corner and preseason starts in February so let's go!

I'm really hoping this is the year STL wins it all.

More sad, insane trolling. Lock’s having a great day today for the Giants. Over 300 passing yards, 4 passing TDs, 1 rushing TD. All of that against a solid Colts defense fighting for a playoff spot. So they had a lot to play for.

I’m sure if he does get another NFL back-up opportunity, that’s what he’s going to take.

For 49er to dream of some weird scenario to keep pretending he’s a Mizzou fan and a Battlehawks fan is downright certifiable.

Nobody is happier for Drew Lock than me. He had a great game and reminded me of his glory days at Mizzou. The only problem is now some NFL team might think he's a good QB and sign him as a backup.

But back to the Battlehawks. What do we do at QB? The Battlehawks are so close to winning it all and we just lost AJ McCarron. The season starts in March which is less than 3 short months away.

I am the only person talking about the Battlehawks in this entire thread . The QB issue in St. Louis is huge with the exit of AJ McCarron and I'm trying to create a conversation around that. Who do you think we will bring in? Last year's backup Manny Wilkins? Or will the 1st rounder from San Jose State Chevan Cordeiro get cut by the Seahawks and win the job? Who knows, maybe he's cut already. Personally I'd rather go with a veteran because we are built to win now.

And I've never posted in game day threads for any contest because I prefer to actually watch the game instead of chat with people online I don't know. HNY!

I agree, probably not anymore. After Lock threw two pick-6's I thought his disappointing career might be over and he'd end up on the Battlehawks. We'll see what happens this offseason.
