The instant I heard this I said how can they get rid of Randy and keep that idiot balloon party show on the air?

You're telling me the balloon party idiot who starts his show with something like "Yes, yes... yes" is taking over Randy?!?!

Admittedly, didn't listen to the morning drive much these days as I'm up late working every night just about but wow... Agreed that Randy just needed a better cast but I like Danny Mac, although I liked him much better as a Cards announcer than a radio host.

I used to watch the morning show on YouTube every morning. I thought sometimes Randy would think he was funnier than he really was but I enjoyed him and Brooke.
Danny Mac always hid behind his computer with his head down alot but he was very informative.

I tried watching the balloon party about a half a dozen times but couldn't get through the entire hour. I can't understand what management is thinking over there putting that guy on for 4 hours.

I enjoy the fast lane crew and hope they don't replace them with a guy like TM

The Morning Drive was bad. Brooke there enabling a blabbering, pompous Randy. Danny Mac phoning it in with zero energy. Hate to see people lose jobs, but it's time to go away came awhile ago.

A lot of local and national sports knowledge with Karraker. He was strictly a behind the scenes guy when Buck, Bob Burns and Bob Broeg could be heard on KMOX along other old timers - most of them long gone from this earth. He was one of those guys who was truly passionate about sports and persisted through eras of rapid change that pushed more style than substance. He'll land somewhere. Radio is an unforgiving business... ...and dying a slow death.

I didn’t dislike the show, I just wished they’d switch up the segments a little. While driving into work after dropping the girls off at school, I got real tired of only hearing the fight. Then, when I’d leave work, I’d hear another fight segment, but this time from the Fast Lane.

Honest, I enjoyed the morning fight only because of Karraker would expand upon his answer in greater depth, but the afternoon fight was far more entertaining. They brought more energy, a different feel, and packed more camaraderie and humor.

As for the people, Brooke is a huge positive. Sports talk really does need more women like her on the airwaves. I liked hearing McLaughlin’s takes. Would have preferred less air time for the other guy. That said, all I ever heard from him was fumbling and unnecessarily drawing out the results of the fight.

I have a strong disdain for the boring gambling bits on any sports talk. It’s boring and so forced because that’s who’s funding the show. I could 100% do without any of that. I get there’s an audience, but betting on sports ruins the game for me and I couldn’t give an ish what the point spread is.

Brooke was the only reason I YouTube them. Mclaughlin looked like Debi Downer. Rocchio couldn't read without chopping everything up with the exception of "are you kidding me". Karraker: hey look at how smart I am. These guys have a program director who'd sit down with them and point out the s**t that would turn off listeners? Now if they'd only do something with Cary Davis and that wheeze let the air out of a tire laugh. They all need to sit back and listen to the FAN in Chicago to get a clue. Can I take it that I won't have to hear about "oh about a weak back" anymore. Jesus.

I didn't think this was a bad show necessarily but definitely not a good one. They just did the same thing every day and none of it was particularly interesting. Danny mac especially was a downer, seemed like he didn't even want to be there

As annoying as most others on his shows have even, Karraker was the only reason I listened to 101 in the morning.

It's literally the worst radio show I've ever heard. I cringe and say "Great, just my luck," any time I'm stuck in the car between 10-11am. Every time I hear that dude's voice I ask myself how the h*ll are these idiots still on the air? And now he's getting a promotion?

Nothing worse than someone in love with their own voice when they're not funny and have nothing interesting to say.
