Noticed that on the ball Church dropped in center last night too. Ball looks good off the bat but then dies out there

Odd how the ballclub turns out to have 5 rather reliable relievers yet the BP has been not very good.

Does Soriano’s stance look slightly more open in the stretch?
Seems like his left shoulder was more closed or angled toward 3rd base recently.

So for those Walker hitting 2nd apologists, was that the 3rd time he’s lead off an inning. I mean if you want to maximize his ABs, why not hit him lead off. Just think what their stats might have been if Ruth lead off and Gehrig hit 2nd.
