His walk led to a run earlier too. MLB is hard, he is making strides.
802 ops the past 30 games....

Pretty nice double play started by Gorman.
5 errors this month that’s ugly
Had him out of position for 3 years, he will improve the more he plays third.
2 HR off lefties in the last 3 days I think.

Play the unicorn!
All he needed was playing time.
Said it from day one.
Consider how much better the team could have been.
People can say what they will about his 3rd base D as it's fairly atrocious, but he's actually a very serviceable 2nd basemen. And far more importantly, take what Gorman's done over his last 15 or 30, or probably even 45 games (beyond 30 not put together on his MLB page) and you'd be a fool not to take a full season's extrapolation of that all day every day. He'd be on pace for 40 home runs...

Since Oli stopped giving him like 8 at bats a week through the first 6-8 weeks, he might be the best hitter on the team since then. K's are down a little and walks are up a little and the power is definitely there.

Of course he'll likely fall into a Gormanesque black hole now that we're all expecting something...

Was thinking if Gorman played 3rd every day got a full season, he could be a 30/30 guy maybe ?
30 HR’s / 30 errors. :D

But....you could easily live with him as a #6 hole hitter(especially against RH pitching).
Some combo 1 thru 5 of Donovan/Winn/JJ/Contreras/Herrera could be decent?
And if Arenado actually picked it up?????
Trade Noot(preferably for a RH bat or package for SP)
Gorman & Walker???
Scott ok in the #9 hole.
Hey....might as well think/dream positive under the circumstances! LOL
Maybe ole' "Soupy Sales" has been "right on" for a long time when posters like you were "asleep at the wheel".

He is serviceable at 2B. Not exactly sure what his deal is making the throws from 3B??
Seems to have the yips? He should get past that in time!

Yes you’re the Nostradamus of Cards Talk.
Exactly how were we asleep at the wheel??? LOL
And BTW....I’ve always been complimentary of Burleson as have many others.
As I have been in this thread!
Why would I or anyone else on CT want him to fail??
BTW...you may want to ease up a bit on making him the next Gehrig?
