This offense is just pitiful
Freeland 2-12 ERA over 5.5

His best start of the year tonight - by far.

Grounding into 3 double plays tonight has thwarted scoring .

There is a cure for that.....players in motion.

Bingo! Almost never does it. Scarifice bunts are also not his thing.

Many under-performing pitchers seem to have great games against the Cardinals.

So scary for Oli. He loves him some station to station inaction.

I remember Tony saying if the offense or a particular player was slumping he would use the hit and run to spark them and help get them going. Oli loves station to station

You have a quote for that? What if the entire team is struggling?

Yep!

Marmol just doesn’t have it!
Not to say that they don’t need better talent.....they do....but he brings nothing to the table.
Low IQ
Poor judgement with in-game decisions
No imagination
We need a change this off season.

Marmots are fearful, timid, skittish creatures as a matter of evolution.
True on a mountaintop.
True on a baseball field.

They aren't aggressive enough on the bases. That's on Oli. This team is anemic offensively so they need to be more aggressive Scouty. They do not have any power bats in the rotation. How else can you score runs when they have almost zero power?

It points to poor game strategy before the game ever starts. All pitchers have tendencies and pitches that they go to to get outs. Our hitters play right into their hands, or should I say “ Gloves “!
Winn hit into bad luck his last at bat, but most of our hitters are too impatient when we have runners on base.
