Oh, good Red. So they looked like a Major League team today? Guess when they lose they're a AAA team and when they take 2 out of 3 from the Dodgers they "really looked good". It's like a yoyo.

Check the standings.
I do, Red, every day. There are roughly the same about of ML teams with a worse record than the Cardinals, as there are those with a better record. Which means they're an average ML team, not a AAA team.

But are they any better than the other half? That's my point, probably not which makes them a minor league team in the Majors equivalent to a AAA team.

The idea that a mid-level MLB team is the equivalent of a AAA club might just be the single worst take I have ever seen on this, or any other board.

With trying to compete on a Major League level.
Thinking this team could compete on AAA is wishful thinking.
They are not a good team ..roster has a lot of problems...no stars...no excitement..ballpark is dead...and worst of all, they are boring...but we were once good and fun with stars! DeTwit and Mo-ran have given a big [fork] you to the fanbase!
This is true and anyone with 1/2 a brain should see this.
Looks like you have a troll...I've seen several posts accusing others of trolling. .I sense some hypocrisy?

Great observation. And it also seems some are happy with being mediocre.

No chit. Between this and Red being a long time fan bashing his hometown team- he’s really muffed.

It's not bashing, it's not being a cheerleader with unrealistic views.

Yes, rat, when someone calls my favorite team a “AAA” team when 1/2 of the major league teams have worse records, the faulty logic rubs me the wrong way. And then compounds it by saying my favorite team may not be better than all the teams with worse records. It obviously bothers another poster too. Why aren’t you addressing that other poster too?

Cranny you need your own forum where no one can have an opinion different than yours.
