I realize Contreras' run isn't critical but shouldn't he have scored on that hit?

arenado is a pop-up machine. even that "hit" yesterday was just a pop-up to left field, but with no left fielder

Tip of the hat to McGreevy!!
Facing very very tough lineup.
Hit very very hard first two innings.
Bowed his back and gave team a much needed 6 innings plus a chance to rally.
Obviously not the day he wanted but I still liked what I saw!
+1 nice recovery by McGreevy and something to build on.
The Cardinals are still in this game st te 6th inning and Kershaw is out. Time to jump the LA bullpen.
Sometimes you learn more about a player on how they handle an “off” day as opposed to an “on” day???
+1 he didn’t break didn’t even rattle he just figured out a way to get outs

might be waiting a second to drop and then outfielder is now shallow for short throw...but
also on replay was 3rd base coach waving him in or just dropping his hand from stopping him? What did the coach do?

Looks like the crowd will have plenty of time to head over to the Dome to pregame for the Battlehawks playoff matchup.

I have to laugh at people here downing Burly, compared to most on this team he is an all-star.

Well they've handled Ohtani and Freeman this series. Betts, not so much.

Brilliant managing by Oli by pinch hitting for a righty who can’t hit (Barrero) with another righty who can’t hit (Vilade)

Vilade pinch hitting for Batrero makes zero since
Especially in a leadoff situation

Vilade's parents must be in attendance.

Plus Phillies lost today 2-1 Thank you, Pirates ! Phillies were 2-8 the last 10 games and now add another loss. A big slump right now.
