Mikolas with 6 shutout innings! I never would have predicted 7 straight effective games from him.
The defense is just stellar! Has to be the best in the league.
Leahy just continues to emerge! And Helsley is Helsley again. Shutting down the 9th!
Walker gets the game winning HR. If his bat is waking up, opposing teams better duck.
Tomorrow we get to see Liberatore hopefully contine his breakout season.
Enjoying this ride.
At what point do we.....gulp...have to give some credit to Mo and Oli?

I absolutely loathe when fans says things like "This team is special!" so I refuse to utter such a disgrace, especially just halfway through May, but, man... these guys have got it going on right now.

I spent all day umpiring 11 year old baseball games. Like 8 hours of it.
What a clean game to watch as a nightcap of baseball.
VS2 posturing with Noot dapping him up after that catch at the fence was awesome.
Then that 8th and 9th inning defense. Inject that straight into my veins.

Royals and Chiefs being poached by the state of Kansas if we aren't careful. I don't care, but I hear the Cardinals also want some kind of Stadium upgrades.

F KC sports fans! Had a bunch of friends drive there to try and root for the Royals back in 2014 since it was KC's first WS appearance since 85. Said they were treated like terrorists once KC people heard they were from STL and were Cards fans. Like, seriously, housewives screaming obscenities at them and throwing drinks at them. Men wanted to fight them. Kids told cops STL fans grabbed their wee-wees!
