Lucky to get 1 point. Man our offensive stars have started bad.

Laying eggs on home ice. That has to change and it's still very early. You have to be much better on home ice than they have shown.

Thomas, Kyrou, Holloway, Buchnevich, Snuggerud, Neighbours, Suter.
146 combined shifts, over 120 minutes of combined ice time and they had 5 total shots on goal. 5 total shots on goal against the Kings at home, just remarkably bad.

8 shots after 2 is terrible. I'm glad they got the 1 point. I expected this team to in be more Offensively dynamic. I'll give them a few more games before I really start judging them. Long season still ahead...LGB!

Was Snuggerud benched or injured? Only 9 mins tonight. Only Texier had less for forwards

I don't get playing Snuggerud for under 10 minutes. He should be getting 15 minutes a game and playing him less isn't doing his development any favors. And if it's sending a message after making some mistakes, then there are some vets who should be getting the same treatment.

Beginning to think Monty isn't the answer either...he's coaching like this is a playoff team led by vets when its a [shirt] team needing to play youth.LGB73 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 06:42 am I don't get playing Snuggerud for under 10 minutes. We were lucky to get a point after the level of play. It's early so they can't say they are beat up or worn out- and they did not all lose their skills over the summer or forget how to play. Why no motivation especially in front of a home crowd?
Beginning of the 3rd showed what they can do- when they want to.

OK, last season the Blues were 4-2 after six games, one point difference. They then went 4-9-1 in the next 14 games.

Not even a full season under Monty. Holy cow...
