Historically Willson has not been good with runners on base. The Cardinals as a whole this year have looked really bad with a runner at 3rd base and less than two outs. They usually don’t even put the ball in play. For some reason the Cardinal hitters haven’t ever figured out that they get pitched differently with runners on base, than when the bases are empty. This has to be a team thing because almost everyone of them are bad!
Do they listen to the hitting coach
Are they coachable

That’s a good question. If they aren’t, then, #1 I blame Oli for not making them do so, #2 get rid of the ones who aren’t coachable.
