Why do we continue to chase Boyd’s junk. Pages takes a fastball center cut and chases a 3-2 pitch out of the strike zone. The only difference in the Cardinals inning and the Cubs inning is the amount of junk we chase that just isn’t a strike. Boyd is going to be close to 50 pitches with everything we chase. Hampson, same thing, chasing junk. 5 Ks by Boyd after two innings and we chase everything.

yet 9 years ago Mo signed one for 5 years and 82.5 mil and it doesnt register at all as cards having had a center fielder....

a ways to go on that one. I love what Baez is doing and the change in Fly Ball rate territory to Ground Ball territory, but AA to MLB is vastly different.
