I'll get slammed but who cares
When do you throw one up & in on this Busch character?
no slam from me
Coming into today vs Cards this season:
4 HR
.471 .471 1.176 1.647
Add another HR and pts to those stats
I'm Old School, he gets one under the chin next AB.
Ok….it is worth one of the cards getting a broken rib?
Which one?
Well, that is a good point…
I just think it’s childish to risk injuring someone who has done nothing more than beating you like a drum…
Here’s an idea….make better pitches…

Noot knows popups, got lessons from Arenado.
Cardinals fans in Chicago yelling Noooooooot. Embarrassing. Save the shouts for players who are actually good.

Must be nice to have a Baseball team that can hit home runs. Busch needs one off his nose next time up.
These guys are all friends…..they are in the same union..
They all have the same goal of the next big contract…
They don’t risk injuring their union brother..
Then why does Willson Contreras keep getting hit, knocked down, game after game?
Because he hangs out over the plate….but I guess it’s possible no one likes him..
Some of you guys are still stuck in the sixties…
I am well aware he crowds the plate, but in that he is not alone. And it is also possible that no one on this forum likes you.
Fine with me…

I said get them off the plate I didn't say intentionally injure anybody.

Have you seen him deliberately hit a batter?

I think he has an attitude that's not appreciated by the opposition. It's there way of saying I'm not afraid of you, if you get hit, too bad. JMHO.

First you state that pitchers don't throw inside or hit batters because they are all friends and union bros.....but then you state that Contreras crowds the plate and maybe he is not well liked. Lots of flip flopping.....

Luckily unlike his first ab that 2nd popup was with bases empty. That way it is slightly less irritating!

Players have completely reverted back to the last couple of years. Swinging at everything, no clue about the strike zone. 1st month they seemed like they may have figured it out. Just horrible at bats up and down the order.
