Pete Crow-Armstrong leads off the bottom 8 with his 19th HR
5-3 Cubs over Brewers
PC-A....we need a guy like him in the draft. LOL
Did you see PCA running catch in LC gap in top of 8th.
If there is one guy Cubs don’t want missing games, it’s that guy.

Rockies hit 7 HR tonight.
SEVEN
and not in Coors
And somehow managed only 10 runs on those 7 HRs. lol
Hendricks. The Kyle Hendricks. Struck out the Yankees 9 times tonight over 6 shutout innings. Judge 0 for 4 with 3 K’s in the game!

July 30, 2021: New York Mets traded Pete Crow-Armstrong (19) to the Chicago Cubs for Javier Báez (28), Trevor Williams (29) and cash.

And at the time he was in A ball. Reminds me of when the Toronto Blue Jays were supposedly offered a low A player named David Wright by the Mets for Jose Cruz Jr. and their GM turned it down saying “I’m not trading Cruz for some A ball player”. I wish the Cubs GM had done that.

What is more enjoyable ?
Watching the Cards win the 12-2 game OR
After the win reading the CT posts from pages 2 & 3 from this thread when White Sox had lead 1-0 .

Speaking of stiffs.. Libby. Has all the makings of an embarrassing series.
This poster always makes negative early game comments. They do make for fun reading after games like these. But when you complain about nearly every game at some point in the thread like this one and Braund and others do, I suppose you do get some right. But this year they have been wrong al lot. And it is SO enjoyable when they are So wrong. How about those stiffs tonight?

Clearly we have a new closer.
You can take that with a Granillo assault.
I wouldn't want to face Granillo in a bar fight
If you want to know what Lance Lynn would look like as a reliever... look at Granillo.
In fact has anyone ever actually seen them both together in the same room?
Or in the same line at Steak ‘n Shake?

I can't stand him. I hope we have a good plan to face him when we (FINALLY) face the Cubs, because I hate that guy.
