Oli seems reluctant to pull his starter before the 5th inning, no matter how bad he's struggling.

Managers are hesitant to pull starters early in games as you then overwork your bullpen .. If they have to pitch 6 or 7 innings .. usually that may be 4 pitchers possibly, you can burn your bullpen out in a week or so . Then you are is super big trouble when you have tired arms .
So that's the reason managers hate to go to the pen early.

Royals hitter fouled one off his own shin. After was the med staff and Oli going out to take out Libby.

Why was he pulled if not injured. No treatment? No medical tests or examination in the clubhouse?

Oh, I get it and agree, but sometimes it's rather obvious your guy doesn't have it, it's like you're giving the game away. I'm old school and I realize the game has changed, you can no longer think that starter in your next game will go nine.

I agree and Not an oli fan but he’s stuck in a tough spot it’s a double header and still have 10 games in a row to play. It’s Easy to say pull him now when you’re a fan don’t have to worry about the next ten games in a row
