Though the 2- run homer ,Helsley did one of the most important things a closer can do .. he DID NOT walk any batter in that 9th inning.

I know it goes unnoticed sometimes but if the closer makes the other team get all hits to score whatever runs your chances of winning increase a lot.

Stole that one! Miles was terrific. 2 BB gifts and a misplayed triple. Very little offense at 4 hits. Helsley was barely good enough.
