Cards get only two baserunners all day. Luckily one of them was trotting.
It must be 1968, Cards win 1-0.

Awesome that Walker won the game for the cards it’s been a while since he’s done anything significant

And screw the Royals for celebrating 1985….should be saying they were gifted one of the most obvious wrong calls in history

LOL...2 friggin hits and they won the game. This team is out of their minds right now. I'm loving it. As an aside, Winn shined on defense.

This is fun!
Hopefully that big hit gets Walker going?
Please tell me tomorrow there won’t be more celebration nonsense.
Watching the Royals broadcast.

I've been pretty positive on this team as soon as their fate was out of FO hands and taken over by the players, manager and coaches.
But blinking my eyes at how stunningly good this team is.
Today,...
Mikolas with 6 shutout innings! I never would have predicted 7 straight effective games from him.
The defense is just stellar! Has to be the best in the league.
Leahy just continues to emerge! And Helsley is Helsley again. Shutting down the 9th!
Walker gets the game winning HR. If his bat is waking up, opposing teams better duck.
Tomorrow we get to see Liberatore hopefully contine his breakout season.
Enjoying this ride.

Fair enough but Donnie was better. Those 2 picks in the eighth were gold glove

Do the Cardinals need to get Burleson in the lineup, even against LHP to, possibly. get more possible offense going?
Burly has one (1) hit all season vs left-handers.
Solid plan there, Casey Stengel!

Wow. What a series of plays!
+1 Donovan has to win another gold glove this season
Winn should win one with his play, so far.

He is just a smart player. He is good wherever they write him in, but likely his best position is second base.
