Q, I don't think we can take Soto, AOF may not talk to us for months. The man crush is hard for that one.

I did one already, well worth it IMO. Going to run through another one tonight and most likely Saturday. What's great is I just reupped my golf club membership, which means I get 25 dollar green fees after 2 and NEVER play weekends too much traffic so I am wide open Sunday.
25 dollars. That's a bargain. 150 is considered cheap around here. Lol. A great deal. Maximize it!!!
I'm WFM and usually block my calendars on Tuesday 2 - 5 (Yeah I am a W2). But with DS time I usually can bang out 18.

Just saying!

Q thanks for staying with me when I went Luke Warm, excited about being part of this fine illustrious group of baseball DEGENs. Try talking baseball is Jacksonville / St Augustine. They look at me like I have two heads. They would rather talk about the minor league hockey team (Icemen).
Sounds painful

I am surrounded by Met or Yankee fans. Can't talk to either as each are only capable of talking about how their teams are The Best. W, L or Draw.

Yet, sounds better than the Icemen talk. Lol

Hang in there.

I'm a MWM. He, Him, dude. Prefer to be called King or King John The 2nd. The 1st one sucked big time. Shouldn't be too hard to outdo him.

But seriously, of late, when and where prompted for a what would you like to be called, I tell em, King , King John..and some of them do it. Lmao

I got in. Logged me in under my Gmail account initially. Had to resign in under yahoo id. IDK. Life is too [fork]ing complicated. Used cash today, a few times. [shirt] feels weird. May go back to it. Lol
Sir, is the VCR plugged in?

Cash is crisper than it used to be. Hasn’t passed through the hands of the countless unwashed, and more of them wash their hands nowadays

Lol

Actually have a couple of the DVD/VHS dual decks. Have a number of Zeppelin bootlegs from the 80s that were on tape.

Will convert them to a more accessible source at some decade.

Have a [shirt]load on CD and DVD so don't often need to access. But in case I do. Lol

Drafting Soto automatically means 6 months of obnoxious trade offers from AOF, so he might just fall to 11th.

Packed up a bunch of old VHS tapes not long ago. I guess it’s virtually pointless to transfer to DVD now. Bunch of old Cards games in there… some from the 80s. Watching those old commercials is a trip. Could put them on YouTube and go viral with old farts.

@Quincy...

Set my keepers for my auction draft. Overall team budget is $260. I went big in the auction last year getting Soto ($46) and Betts ($44) but it costs last year's auction price + $10 to keep a guy you picked so I'm sending them back into the auction.

I'm starting with (pre-draft value per Yahoo in parentheses):
Jackson Chourio - $16 ($29, average $35)
Jarren Duran - $10 ($28, average $31)
James Wood - $10 ($17, average $19)
Cole Ragans - $18 ($20, average $22)
Kumar Rocker - $2 ($1)

Rocker is a worthless keeper, but whatever.

Hehe you should be our league DJ. Suggestions for draft day music… full albums, should carry from start to finish.

Rocker could be interesting, and doesn’t eat your budget. You can be picking other interesting dudes in the late rounds, so it sort of makes sense. You can still trade keepers, right?

This is not the same keeper league you mentioned earlier, I take it.

If worthless why keep him?

He is costing you a 5th round pick at a Minimum.

No?

It only takes him off the board, I’d guess.

Right. This is a 10 team H2H categories auction keeper (up to 6 but not required to keep any).

The other is a 12 team H2H points. I’m pretty set on Ramirez / Betts / Harper / Jazz / Strider but monitoring starters not kept.
