I am pretty ok with how they played in this one TBH. no wins, but some semblance of understanding that more direct with speed gives them chances. The problem is less the one glaring icing where 55 had more time, and is more that we cannot win a faceoff to save our lives in the offensive zone. If we could win even 40% of the faceoffs in the offensive zone, we'd have more chances generated off of that. Otherwise we end up having to win the transition game every time, and again we are so scared defensively of letting goals in that it paralyzes us in our own zone often in the 2nd period. Didn't bite us every time, but it did in the first two.

see, this is the dog poo i keep talking about. people are mad we lost. and they will sit here and hope for a top 3 pick tomorrow, but dog the team today.

Blues takeaways today, and Monty said the same thing I have been saying. outside of 1 game of the last 6, they are competing about as hard as they can. They just aren't converting. This is a LOFT problem. (Lack of F Talent). We have Hollywood, Thomas, Suter out. Those are 3 of our top 6 guys out. They have been out the majority of the year, because intermittent injuries.

What do you expect? What do you want? these are the questions I ask. I want FULL effort out of the team. We got that. We were the better 5 on 5 team. we are the 9th youngest team in the league. If we get a top 3 pick cool. But I want to make sure the vibes in the room are good when that happens. I don't want to wait a decade to watch playoff hockey like some of you guys do.
