Time to go sweep the Mariners so the Royals can make the playoffs.

Royals can go fly a kite. I live around a lot of their insufferable fans, so I do not want them to achieve any level of success.

Well, if the Phillies also sweep the Mets, then the Cards would be only 1.5 GB of the last wild card.

I realize that this is the MLB thread but Memphis was down 7-0 after the top of the 5th.

It is now 8-7 Memphis in the bottom of the 6th inning after a barrage of 5 walks, 5 singles, 1 double and a HR from the Memphis bats.

shame Crav doesn't do his minor league threads on the weekend

Sadly, now Memphis is down 10-8 in the 7th as Weiss walks 2 guys and then gives up a HR in the 7th.

Good news. Memphis came back again and won 12-11.

I’ve gone on record numerous times saying we should get a better manager.
Hindsight on moves is always 20/20 but if we’re going to be critical of his mistakes then you have to give him credit when it works.
