The team sure struggles and is not very good but one thing I gotta say ... They never quit !
PS Who was that Fox play by play announcer ..
As Walker hits the ball down the line, he says 'the Cardinals will take the lead '... then a bout 5 seconds later as he sees all the Cardinals running out to mob Walker , he adds 'the Cardinals walk it off '
I say this as earlier this year, these same guys did a Cardinal game and same thing happened . Bottom of 9th and hit to win it ... He yelled then 'the Cardinals take the lead ... Yikes ! Where did he learn baseball announcing ?

Orioles score 4 in the bottom of the 9th to beat the Dodgers.Absolut wrote: ↑06 Sep 2025 20:57 pmMissed it to see holiday Homer off Yamamoto with 2 outs in 9th. Spoiling the no hittertodd-parker wrote: ↑06 Sep 2025 20:52 pmAppreciate the attempt. Looking at the careers of all the guys mentioned. It appears they all had decent BAs early as full-time players and then bloomed into all-stars. Walker has left himself a lot of room for improvement.Absolut wrote: ↑06 Sep 2025 20:34 pmHrm. Edmond blew up at 25

by the numbers, Pallante did a good job. but watching the game, seemed like runners on every inning. credit where credit is due, he worked out of it for the most part
Saggesse just doesn't do it for me. dude is spitting the bit. Fermin, otoh, looked pretty good at 3rd. nice casual, and accurate, throws. if we keep a guy for a utility player, I'd keep Fermin
and good for Walker to come thru. been pulling for him, but he's made it hard to stay with him. hopefully he figures something out
