He still has a LONG ways to go if he expects to get to the Majors. He pounds the ball into the ground way too much. But (bleep)...can he catch anything in the OF...he's a monster defender.

That's how dominant this team is....there was a stretch that spanned nearly 6 weeks where they lost only 3 or 4 games before the ASB and JJ's promotion

I'm all for it. VS2 is what he is...80 speed, gets to balls no one else can get to in the OF. No power to take the ball the other way, thus the continued pop ups to SS/LF. When he pulls a ball it's on the ground to 2B.

Church will likely be singles hitter in the Majors...I think he can hit at the next level. At least I hope.

i think he'll be more than a singles hitter. I'm betting a doubles guy who, after a year, manages 15-18 HR's and few will run on him...as he challenges the majors with put outs. he will, IMO, be a spark plug thay makes this team competitive along wIth JJ and Crooks.

Winn will get past his sophomore phenomena and get serious recognition as a SS. If Walker breaks out next year the only thing holding us back is pitching...which could be better.

I like what I have seen from Church so far. I don’t expect him to be a middle of the lineup thumper, but why a singles hitter? I am hoping for a replacement for Noot with better skills.
