We shouldn't expect anything good from Quinn Mathews the rest of the season. He needs surgery to repair the shoulder. Until then, his control will remain shot with his fastball.....if we get a start or two where he has 0-1 walks, then that's BIG Bonus, but I'm not counting on it.

had the shoulder impingement coming out of Spring Training, shut down after a few starts in April.... He's said that his delivery is off and you can tell he's uncomfortable quite a bit on the mound.

just my observations, too...I watch him all the time...I'm not an expert, though.
