The thing that makes no sense to me is allowing MO to be a lame duck POBO. Bloom should have been calling the shots this year.

The organization under a MLB POBO is a massive organization that has reaches to all minor league cities as well as an off shore team. Plus all the responsibilities at the major league level, including scouting other teams. It’s a job you don’t just walk into and take over. It takes an in depth transition period to pass the torch to a new boss.

+1...allowing Mo-ran to continue is another mistake by the out-of-touch DeTwit. And fans would respond to a change in leadership...I'm part of a season tix group in Section 148 and a lot of fans are anxious to see what Bloom does...the leadership is stale and cowardly...make something [fork]ing happen!

Cranny amazingly all over the league POBO are fired and replacements step in……without a 2 yr apprenticeship

Amazing that you don’t get stuff, Goldfan. Gary
Laroque also retired and the whole minor league development system had to be revamped. That was Bloom’s first order of business. You can actually reason this stuff out for yourself.

Red! What are you doing on CT? Especially berating a fellow Cardinal fan when you have the beautiful Rockies all around you and Mrs. Red waiting to go out to dinner!

Just had dinner if it is any of your business. You have become a bigger grouch than you used to be. Lighten up a little and don't be so arrogant. And is it any of your business when I'm CT?

What the heck are you talking about? Organizations change baseball leadership all the time and don’t need a two-year runway.

You’re allowed to say they did it wrong. I promise not to tell anyone.

Been obvious for 5-6 years. Mo and DeWitt for whatever reason let the team go. Roster talent is AA level. So is coaching staff. Remember when the middle of the order was extremely talented and they would fill in with mid level talent or veterans that new had to win.

Yes, it's horse manure reading your continuous negative dribble. It never changes. It just dribbles over and over and over again - day after day. No substance.
Substance_
I’ve been saying for months to drop Miles from rotation and insert McGreevy
I’ve been saying for weeks to drop Fedde and find a real arm
I’ve been saying for weeks to find a real OF bat
I said in offseason to trade both Miles and Fedde when teams weren’t looking at their fresh 5ERA’s
And now I’m saying that this Oli MUST be a complete idiot to not reschedule his rotation for Cubbies. As Bernie points out Gray didn’t make one start against Cubs……Fedde/Miles got FOUR. Fireable actions
Well, you sure know best, Goldfan. Are you and Melville the same?
That is a massive insult to Melville.
Not at all.
Imitation is the sincerest expression of awe.

Back in spring I said 88 wins and a chance at the wild card. Back in May that was looking pretty good.

But this roller coaster puke ride has emptied the optimism out of me.

Benching or DFA-ing Mikolas and Fedde along with immediate DFA Mo would help my outlook.

Now watch them rip 3 straight wins against the Nats.

I'll put my post up against yours any day of the week for "substance".

You know very little about baseball and are ONLY here to defend BDWjr and Mo.

You're a toady front office footstool they rest their feet on.
I believe I know a little about baseball, rock, and maybe as much as you (after playing high school, college, and semi-pro ball). And I’m sure I know more about the Cardinals system because I have a passion for following our minor leaguers, every year for the past 20+ years.
Agree or disagree with your perspectives, no one here doubts your passion for the team.
