Just curious, would the rest of this thread's participants like to talk about the game?
Or should we just get used to curmudgeon Scouty having another terrible day and deciding to take out on others by launching unprovoked attacks against people who weren't even talking to him?

We justifiably talk about the physical talent on the team but the poor fundamentals and low IQ on the field AND in the dugout are more disturbing to me.

But more illuminating is that the scene finally gives an answer as to why Cornelius kept licking his pickax throughout the special. In this deleted scene, Cornelius throws his ax in the air, lets it strike the ground and then, after licking it as he has been wont to do, declares, "Peppermint!
