for some stupid reason, Ryan Loutos vaulted him in the pecking order for closer/relief prospects.Sweet Jones wrote: ↑19 Mar 2025 14:25 pmOther than stuff, his actual physical look and on mound mannerisms remind me of Lance Lynn.

Sadly we know Oli loves 140 different lineups over the course of a season.
These 9 should be in the lineup and on the field defensively.

BURLESON DH

Always utilizing OBP and speed whether you have Scott leading off of batting 9th. Winn should be where historically he is best -- batting 8th.
That lineup will score runs and succeed as far as the pitching takes us.

Burly should be the odd man out and play a bench role. He has reached his ceiling IMO, and Gorman's is far higher. This is supposed to be the year we find out about 2 top prospects: Gorman and Walker. They need hundreds of PAs. Burly cannot be standing in the way of that.redbirdfan51 wrote: ↑19 Mar 2025 16:53 pm Scott has earned a the strt in CF hands down. Gorman may be the odd man out of the starting lineup, but the Cards should be able to find him enough AB's. Gorman, Pages, Fermin, and either Siani or Barrrero in reserve. If Barrero makes the roster over Siani, the Cards will need to create a roster spot for him.
