Any early reports from spring training?
I haven't seen or heard much. I realize it's early.

Best case scenario Church turns into a poor mans PCA, I will take that from him. Also today would be the day B. Ramos clears waivers IF he does, I think it's a 72 hour window. I know he is not the answer, but at that age you never know when a guy just clicks. And he has demonstrated some form of power in the minors

Wetherholt announced he will wear a Dodgers hat when inducted at Cooperstown..

I can report with 100% certainty that baseball is happening in Jupiter as we speak.
Which means the starters are golfing, the outfield is eating BBQ, and the coaches are drinking on boats.

I fully believe that PCA is going to become the poor man's PCA. His hitting collapsed like a flan in a cupboard after July.Jobu's Rum wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026 12:36 pmBest case scenario Church turns into a poor mans PCA, I will take that from him. Oh yeah, definitely, if we can get a poor mans version of his season, I'll take it for Church though lolStrummer Jones wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026 13:08 pmI fully believe that PCA is going to become the poor man's PCA. I’ve heard that 95% of the roster showed up in the best shape of their lives.

"Pitchers with scheduled game innings behind Liberatore on Saturday: [Quinn] Mathews (2), [Ryan] Fernandez, [Luis] Gastelum, [Packy] Naughton," Jones posted on X
Fernandez struggled in 2025 and spent a lot of time at Triple-A Memphis. Gastelum hasn't made his Major League debut yet, having spent last year at Double-A Springfield, but he has a live arm that the Cardinals are excited about.
Naughton has been out since 2023, but with John King gone, he could be a candidate to become the second left-hander in the Cardinals' bullpen along with JoJo Romero this season. For Saturday's game, a lot depends on how deep Liberatore can go

Church doesn't have near the power that PCA has. Yeah, I'd love it if he was anywhere near that kind of production.Jobu's Rum wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026 12:36 pmBest case scenario Church turns into a poor mans PCA, I will take that from him.
