You have a better handle on these guys than me. I just was not very impressed with him and I have to think there are better options in the highly unlikely event Thomas is moved.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑20 Jan 2026 12:26 pmI am not the biggest Martone fan but i do believe he will score in the NHL on a consistent basis. If Thomas was to be traded , he absolutely is the main guy you ask for. Not sold on Luchanko at all. I’d take Nesbitt over Luchanko. Regardless it would have to be a haul. Flyers have the pieces for any deal though.MiamiLaw wrote: ↑20 Jan 2026 12:02 pmI don't know...Martone seems like kind of a (bleep) and his skating did not impress me in the WJCs. I don't know that I'd love getting him in exchange for Thomas' current contract.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑20 Jan 2026 11:30 am Martone and Jack Berglund plus…and there is more after that

Oh I’d much rather have Michael Hage from Montreal. Don’t think we have to worry about it though.MiamiLaw wrote: ↑20 Jan 2026 12:42 pmYou have a better handle on these guys than me. We trade Thomas it better be the mother of all hauls or why bother? If we trade Thomas, then Kyrou, Binnington, Parayko, and Faulk better follow or again why bother???

I still can't find a decent Chicago Italian Beef sandwich here. My brother in law took his wife and kids to Springfield for Portillos and a shop to buy Bears gear last week. That's a long commute on a lunch hour.callitwhatyouwant wrote: ↑20 Jan 2026 11:33 am If there a place in STL that does Cheesesteaks up to the quality of Philly? It's one of the regional dishes I like the most, but hard to find. Columbus Ohio has an amazing place. Anyone know of any? Any other regional dishes that STL has a spot that they excel at?

Buona..a Chicago Italian beef restaurant is coming to St. Louis. I believe they are putting in 4 restaurants here. Not sure how good they are but until that time comes, Lions Choice Italian beef sandwich isn’t bad…at least to me it’s not.TAFKAP wrote: ↑20 Jan 2026 15:05 pmI still can't find a decent Chicago Italian Beef sandwich here. I miss Penn Station. Haven't had it in probably 15 years. As far as I know, they do not have them in Florida. Is it still as good as it was? Most places go down hill once they catch on...BleedingBleu wrote: ↑20 Jan 2026 15:11 pmUnrelated, but I need to get my chicken teriyaki fix from Penn Stationcallitwhatyouwant wrote: ↑20 Jan 2026 11:33 am If there a place in STL that does Cheesesteaks up to the quality of Philly? Penn Station is still pretty solid. Maybe not as good as they were 15 years ago, and definitely more pricey now - but still good.MiamiLaw wrote: ↑20 Jan 2026 15:31 pmI miss Penn Station. It could be location specific, but I’ve probably hit 3 different places over the last couple years and have not been let down.MiamiLaw wrote: ↑20 Jan 2026 15:31 pmI miss Penn Station. Shoutout to Goia’s Deli while I’m at it. Hot Salami sandwich is untouchable in the region. Haven’t been to the Hill’s location in a few years since they opened one in Creve Coeur.
Those two sandwich places are the only ones I go

Yes! They are getting a trade rumor and the Blues should get five first rounders for tampering.
