I don't want nor do we need Turcotte...Byfield just doesn't show anything for me...Clarke on the other hand, that's EXACTLY what we need, we need D, because other than Broberg our D is garbage, so we need ALOT of help.

LA is very very solid defensively but they cant score goals and may be looking to add more offensive to what they have in Kempe/Fiala. IF the Blues were to move Thomas or Kyrou this may be a guy to target but that being said Byfield is not a known quantity it does carry some risk. What if Byfield doesnt move beyond a 50-60 pt center? Helenius may develop into another nice center for them, Turcotte is more of a 3rd line center. I would assume they would want Thomas in a Byfield deal i dont think Kyrou + is going to get that done

Thomas/Kryou > LA

Byfield/Laferriere/LA 2026 1st round pick > STL

There may be something here between LA and STL just not sure how it would shake out. I doubt LA is coming off of Brandt Clarke I would also be interested in Helenius but not for Thomas, maybe in a Kyrou deal
I'm not including Thomas in any deal. Kyrou + for Byfield however I have no problem with.
Sweeten the pot and make it a big trade. Add a Kerbs and a Joey, for a JK. I see Byfield eventually scoring a little more than he does now, but I don't ever see a point per game player. That being said, I would make that trade, depending on the plus of course.

I doubt that LA would trade Byfield just yet. It will be very difficult to find a good "hockey trade" for Thomas (at least for the Blues standpoint), so he should not be traded. We don't need to get rid of him, we just need another of him, and ideally a bit better and bigger.

They arent trading Byfield or Clarke. Why? Silly. Its not happening. Blues arent trading Thomas.

Id explore Kyrou, Schenn , Buch, Faulk, Suter, Bjug,

I would hold onto Joseph. Give him an extension lower pay.

Byfield is definitely a noticeable player anytime I watch the Kings. His size and speed are impressive, I would be interested in something similar to a Kyrou/Byfield swap but would want to see a full trade.

You can't teach size and Byfield has great speed to go along with that size. His shooting % is way down this year, which likely is the reason for the "slump".
