Maybe KPLR should be considered. It worked for WGN Cubs and TBS Braves as independent carriers. Hopefully it would be made available outside the STL area.

My brother lived up that way in the mid '70s. It was amazing to this high school kid that the Cubs were on WGN every day.

Then a few years later when cable TV made to our downstate town, we had WGN and the Cubs games too. Not that we availed ourselves unless the Cardinals were involved.
