Simple question, SB. As a former military warrior, what do you do when hostiles fire at you? On an ongoing basis over many months, if not several years? And you criticize me for firing back?sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 09:18 amNo sir. Read what I wrote. Those were your pointed words. Ask the wonder boy Bloom, we could ask Mr. Mo and Mr. DeWitt to try for a Goldy, Nado or Contreras but the haters ran that model out of town! Do any of these "best fans in baseball" deserve anything better than Pirates type ball?

This not war. Just be honest and admit when you are wrong. So now I'm considered hostiles firing at you . . . . WOW!Cranny wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 09:30 amSimple question, SB. Hostile Fire, not firing. It’s a reference to the enemy.OldRed wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 09:40 amThis not war. Just be honest and admit when you are wrong. The fella is older. Physical social interaction could be limited. As for sad and pathetic, sometimes, particularly as we age, we diminish. In all things. It’s very heartbreaking, sad doesn’t quite say it.WLTFE wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 09:42 amGood advice...or perhaps they enjoy arguing with numerous people on a anonymous site...I'm guessing this is their social interaction...very sad and pathetic.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 09:39 amSimple answer. Most certainly will have to get him young and groom him. Maybe a A level player who they can develop into one. That IMO is best case, I can't see a scenario where a team is willing to trade a legit power hitter AA or higher for a player. He'd have to be special and the Cardinals don't possess that type of player currently.

Good write. And correct. Who would just hand over a future stud. Truthfully you almost need a pujols type scenerio to compete. You're probably correct...would explain the incredible number of posts and threads that are hijacked...apparently even receiving negative attention is better than a lonely life...hope there is some family available for the Holidays.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 09:51 amThe fella is older. So (bleep) true. That era of ball was one for the ages. Heck I'd take a Reggie Sanders at this point, lol.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 09:55 amGood write. And correct. Wouldn’t it be great if Walker turns it around, Joshua Baez is for real, and Scott comes on offensively.Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 09:58 amSo (drat) true. Not bullish on Scott, but I agree Walker would be such a wonderful story and addition to the team. Not connected to Baez, hopefully he is a big time player.Cranny wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 10:01 amWouldn’t it be great if Walker turns it around, Joshua Baez is for real, and Scott comes on offensively.Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 09:58 amSo (drat) true.
