Kessel on the 1st line? Wtf!
He sucks at his position so they think he can be a 1st line forward? No wonder this team sucks.

Maybe pick a different game to give Thomas a maintenance game off. Very winnable game.

Do you not understand that being given a practice off does not mean the player isn't playing in the game?

I guess I don't understand. They're letting him sleep in?

They typically call it maintenance days. It would also suggest that's he's dealing with a minor injury.

let's relax a tad; his 4th goal of the season. and with all his quality ice time.

Oh for sure. Just think it's funny when people make these exaggerated proclamations and then they immediately backfire.

Thomas must be hurt. Two maintenance days and sitting out most of the 3rd period. Monty said it wasn't a benching and WHT play him when the game is out of reach.

The one who got away- Colten Ellis?
the guy with a .892 sv% and a 3.4 gaa?

we are missing him?
Yeah I was joking- he got lit up last night.
my bad, I normally have a pretty accurate sarcasm sensor but it was evidently on the fritz yesterday

Blues Dave wrote: 04 Dec 2025 13:42 pm If we have a goaltending problem, it's not about who's number one or who's number two. To me, we have two excellant goaltenders. One of them just happenes to have helped us win a Stanley Cup. That's kinda important. At least to me it is. No offense intended.
Binner winning the Cup is irrelevant as it relates to this year's team. It's 6 years ago and he's not exactly been a stalwart the last couple of years. His numbers have been NHL avg at best. Of late Hofer has been the better of the two but I'm fine with the every other split right now. I wouldn't throw Binner to curb just yet anymore than I would have advocated doing it to Hofer after his early season starts.

And I agree. That's why I say "we have two excellant goaltenders." Binny just happened to be our only goalie who has won a Cup. Hoff hasn't been given the oportunity yet. He may have won it then also. No offense intended.
