You have to have balance and you have to have a vertical between the numbers passing game to loosen up the box.

You're not going to consistently drive the ball 70 plus yards without penalties, missed assignments, or a good defensive play.

MU doesn't have the explosive plays needed to beat the real good teams.

Way too much is laid at the feet of the defense.
And just the lack of creativity. We overwhelmed OU early, but like a good coaching staff should do, they adjusted. We didn’t, D gave up a huge play, and now we’re down in a game we were dominating. Because the offense just continues to sputter. In the red zone we have to get TD’s or we’re not going to win these games. It’s that simple.
We have the talent, the coaching is woeful.

Now we see if Drink has changed anything or be predictable.

Anytime Pribula sees pre snap Olugbode is in single coverage he needs to go there.

And on 3rd down, let's run a route short of the sticks. This offense

Rewind and watch the punt. We only had 10 players on the field. One guy looked confused and ran off at the end.

What was a PF in first half isn't - Hardy being mauled on ground.

Pribula is a lot like Cook on the long ball it seems.

It is truly ridiculous how bad Moore is and Drink rolls with him. Has Drink ever fired anyone in his career? Maybe he is just too meek to pull the strings even though it is needed and he knows it.

Cook over threw everything. Pribula under throws everything. :)

He is Cook, with a bit less talent.

As great as Hardy is...this is my complaint about the young kid. He gets tunnel vision on his runs more so than not. When Marshal Faulk was in college, when things got bottle up on one side, Marshal would see that and before he's grabbed, he would run to the weak side and gain 10- 20 yards and some times to the house. I've seen Hardy do it about 3 times this year, but for the most part he runs into the bottle neck and is stopped. I believe this is coaching. They simply arent teaching it. That last run by Hardy, if he doesn thave tunnel vision he sees the weak is easy pickings for him.

Or Moore is just running Drink’s offense?

The coaching staff was trying to wave him to stay but he could not get all the way back to the line so he just stayed off. Special teams coaching has been brutally bad this game.
