I just hope he has learned while out to step up into the pocket. Otherwise it will be a long day which it maybe anyway

Re: Pribula To Start
I just hope Kirby Moore has learned to stop calling designed QB runs in the red zone and hands the ball off to one of the two RBs who have combined for nearly 2000 yards and 19 TDs so far this season.

Here's where I'm at on this. The future...like next year...is Matt Zoellers.Caregiver1 wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 16:57 pm Per multiple sources

So give him the ball and let's go. And I do not concede the game doing this if Moore can call the right game for these circumstances.
And here's a question for pro Prib folks....is he going to run the football? Is that part of their thinking?
Personally I'm for starting Matt regardless of Pribulas condition. The fact he's not 100% puts this decision, if made, in the sh11t can for me.
Re: Pribula To Start
Exactly! We also have just limited outr playbook with this move. Okie knows the ankle is probably not 100% and they also know he doesn't have the arm strength to go over the middle either. Another stack the box day against us in my opinion. Let MZ play. It will pay dividends in the future.dhsux wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 17:23 pmHere's where I'm at on this. Go back to 3 pt Alabama game where Hardy ran 12 times and Roberts 5.imyourhuckleberry wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 17:12 pm I just hope Kirby Moore has learned to stop calling designed QB runs in the red zone and hands the ball off to one of the two RBs who have combined for nearly 2000 yards and 19 TDs so far this season.
Honestly, Moore should have been shipped out right there.
Re: Pribula To Start
Pribula in his last start put up 3 whole points in 2+ quarters against the clowns of Vandy, who allowed 38 against both Arch-led Texas and mighty Auburn.
I swear, if I see Pribula flee the pocket before pressure arrives in the 1st series and throw it away or a 1-yard pass to Norfleet, I'm going to puke. He is not the answer at QB. Now is the time to get the future QB more reps.

Re: Pribula To Start
If Pribula is 100%, I’m ok with this. If he’s less than 100% I hate it and think we’re setting him up for failure. If he’s less than 100% and can’t run at full strength with no limitations, he’s not the $1.5 million QB we originally signed.
I feel like Pribula regressed as the season went on because he was getting banged up. Part of it could be mental. Maybe this break helped him with that.
This is a tough one.

Not a big fan of this but I can understand it.
OU at home and on the cusp of a playoff spot will have a ferocious pass rush and if Pribula is indeed 100% then he would probably have a better chance than the raw Zollers.
Missouri’s offense is what it is and that's not suddenly going to change because we want it too regardless who's playing QB.
I can already see an ultra conservative approach to this game.
Not looking forward to this one.

This. The QB play is predicated on Moore getting his head out of he rectum regardless who is behind center. Moore is a QB killer.imyourhuckleberry wrote: ↑21 Nov 2025 17:12 pm I just hope Kirby Moore has learned to stop calling designed QB runs in the red zone and hands the ball off to one of the two RBs who have combined for nearly 2000 yards and 19 TDs so far this season.

Re: Pribula To Start
I expect to see a whole lot of 3 and outs unless the RB's can run through the defense. The most critical part of this offense is going to be the offensive line. If they cannot create some holes for Hardy and Roberts it will be a long day for the defense. Pribula will see a lot of shotgun handoffs or quick dumps to the outside. They are not going to make him do a lot of running around, and I know the coaches do not want to try the stupid stuff once more and see Pribula pancaked under a pile flopping around like a pig in the mud because he just got a leg tore up. I can only hope we see some play actions with some deeper throws on quick out routes. I do not have faith however this team is up to the challenge. The coaches have done a horrible job designing around the strengths of the team when it matters most. They will most likely end up 8-4 on the season and most would call that a good season, but I do not as they had the season in their hands in two of the biggest, winnable games and the coaching let the players down. They know the receivers are having a hard time making separation and the QB's a hard time with timing. They should have been calling around those weaknesses all season and coaching throughout the week to strengthen those areas. I just do not see it.
Re: Pribula To Start
spread is only 7.5 points - easy $ to be made on OU imho
