Possibly unpopular opinion: Flyers jerseys are top 5 in the NHL

My top 10:

1) Blackhawks red
2) Blues 2000-2025 white (the white makes the Blue Note look best)
3) Blues 2000-2025 blue (I FAR prefer the two-tone blue/navy over the current retro monocolor)
4) Canadiens red
5) Sharks original home teal
6) Rangers traditional home blue (not any of their 3rds)
7) Last Whalers (circa 1996) white
Late 80’s early 90’s North Stars White
9) Blues current retro white (I do prefer the slimmer current Blue Note over the ones the last few years)
10) Red Wings white (mainly for the fantastic logo — the uniform is a bit boring otherwise, especially the home all-red).

Favorite logos:

Blackhawks head (and the C with crossed tomahawks on shoulders)
The current (which is also the 1967-1980) Blue Note and the one just previous (2000-2025)
Note: I hated the small Blue Note with the large BLUES over the top and wasn’t fond of the one with the small St. Louis tacked into it.

Atlanta Flames
Whalers
Kings original crown (rounded) and Kings circa 2000 crown (pointed). I don’t like any of the Kings “shields” logos. I want more crown!

The Leafs announcers raved about the Blues jerseys. It was awesome to hear as I've always loved the note.

Canadiens - such a classic
Buffalo - with the sabres. I hate the "head"
Leaf - funny because there was an old cartoon in Canada about how the Canadien jersey is so much better than the Leafs. But it's a classic
Flyers
Rangers.
Canucks - I like the green and blue jerseys. Not the big V atrocities.
Yep...I like the orange and blue Oilers look.

The oldies. I miss the Whalers, Nordiques, and North Stars

I can't believe that the NHL wallet hip-checked the North Stars out of existence.

All the original 6 franchises are fantastic. Personally like the more simple logos. They stand out a lot better then some of the modern more busy ones, (Wild for instance). That's one of the things that makes the Blues and Flyers stand out as well. Can't be a homer here and I will not be caught in a most of these sweaters but if I had to rank them it would be as follows.

Bleakhawks: This logo is the best in professional sports.
Bruins: The original logo not the meth bear. Love these colors as well.
Leafs: Classy, simple great color.
Blues: The older Sutter era is my favorite but the winter classic one is nice as well. Oddly I like the new White one better than the home dark.
Kings: The Marcel Dionne era ones are fantastic. But only that one really.
Deadwings: They are scum but the sweater is nice.
Habs: A bit busy but it's a classic.

Flyers are a jersey I don't have love for as is, but as soon as it would vanish, the nostalgia of it would skyrocket, I think that happened to the Whalers. I personally always loved the Nordiques as my second team up until 1995, I miss that franchise.

I find the first Whaler logo simple genius. Forget just hockey....It's one of the best brand logos period!
