The heist of the decade so to speak? 😬
Hey prospect is Mailloux so they might have to throw something in the even it out.

would you trade: Parayko // Kyrou//and Binnington // to the Oilers for Draisaitl and one of their goalies to balance out the money.
Which team says no ?
Stop it.
Stop it.

Why would they ever trade Draisaitl. For 3 average pieces--you dont do that.

you would have to throw in a prospect and a 1st to even get that ball moving. But these trades would never happen in november anyways. If the Oil are out of the playoff picture come trade deadline, it ain't Draisitl that is going, they might legit ask McJesus if he wants to pick a spot. And with that, both Edmonton and their trade partner don't know if he sticks around. That 2 year extension sounds good in principle, but it's only good if they are a lock for the playoffs and are still capable of making cup runs. If they flirt with not making playoffs, its going to look really bad because they are stuck in a holding pattern.

that being said, it's not danger zone for the Oil right now, slow start the last few years. There are a few pretenders that have to show they are playoff teams for multiple months, not just 1 month of hockey before you can start questioning what is going on around the league. Shiz, use the Devils for example. They have done this same song and dance 3 years in a row.
