goaltending is where Binny usually has us.
I know some on here think that Binwa is the greatest goalie since Terry Sawchuk but reality is that he usually mired in the bowels of NHL stats. With numerous variances on defense and team support. His run with Canada was only because he had the support of his nations best players. Is it time to move forward with another goalie?

This post borders on preposterous.

There are too many things to mention for any thread about Binny. I'm definately behind him 100%. But there are a bunch of guys playing in front of him, and it just takes one mistake from any of them to make him adjust on the spot, real quick. With a bit of consistancy in front of him he can almost always take care of his positition being the final defense. Our boys are having a rough go of it for sure right now. But this is not a bad team. I believe they'll get it together, and the least we'll have to worry about is Binny. No offense, just my opinion.

Binner is FAR from the problem of this team. Sure he hasnt been good but still better than Hofer.

I was right every time I said Army should have traded Binnington 2 years ago. Now it may be too late...

The Blues have few proven entities on this team and Binnington is one of them.
By all means let's dump him and its not even November yet.

Binnington's playoff success is useless when he isn't good enough to get you there....netboy65 wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 08:48 amNo you weren’t.son_of_foolsgold wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 08:04 am I was right every time I said Army should have traded Binnington 2 years ago. Now it may be too late...

Binnington is not and has never been an elite goalie.
He is an elite competitor though and you can win with that if you have the other parts in place.
Hofer on the other hand is a sub par competitor. Way too passive.

He was just barely good enough to accomplish that.netboy65 wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 10:18 amGot us there last year right?son_of_foolsgold wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 09:01 amBinnington's playoff success is useless when he isn't good enough to get you there....netboy65 wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 08:48 amNo you weren’t.son_of_foolsgold wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 08:04 am I was right every time I said Army should have traded Binnington 2 years ago. When both of your goalies, who have already proved themselves as very good, falter, it just might be the team in front of them.
The forwards aren't controling the neutral zone allowing easy zone entrance.
The forecheck has been invisible, as well as the backcheck.

Which is it? First he wasn’t good enough, then he’s barely good enough. Or maybe you’re just a troll with an ax to grind.son_of_foolsgold wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 12:19 pmHe was just barely good enough to accomplish that.netboy65 wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 10:18 amGot us there last year right?son_of_foolsgold wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 09:01 amBinnington's playoff success is useless when he isn't good enough to get you there....netboy65 wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 08:48 amNo you weren’t.son_of_foolsgold wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025 08:04 am I was right every time I said Army should have traded Binnington 2 years ago.
