Call up?
Are the gonna call someone up to replace Neighbors?
Re: Call up?
If you can't beat them, then beat them...sign Lucic to league minimum salary until Neighbours returns, and at that time determine if you want to waive him. Give him #66 to wear...send a message to the League and other teams and to opponents that we are disruptors. Give them something to scratch their heads about. And tell all of the rest of our other players to focus on the basics of playing hockey and using their heads. The Captain and other informal leaders in the Room can send a message through play.
What can it hurt? There is almost on every shift at least one player either missing or out of sync anyway...we might as well be killing penalties.

He's still in rehab for a bad ankle, or he probably already would be on the roster. Armstrong has said they will "reconnect" on another PTO midseason.Old_Goat wrote: ↑29 Oct 2025 09:03 am If you can't beat them, then beat them...sign Lucic to league minimum salary until Neighbours returns, and at that time determine if you want to waive him. Re: Call up?
Was it ankle or groin? I thought it was groin. Either way I wouldn't expect much out of Lucic. His time has passed and for whatever reason he and management feel otherwise on that.schwartzwatch wrote: ↑29 Oct 2025 09:31 amHe's still in rehab for a bad ankle, or he probably already would be on the roster. You are correct, sir. Had his injury confused with someone else's. Apologies.dtkblueshockey wrote: ↑29 Oct 2025 09:44 amWas it ankle or groin? I thought it was groin. Groin, ankle, brain...whatever, ideally whenever it heals and they figure it out, the whole idea won''t really need to be considered!
