I also think they will go after Tucker and likely sign him. They could use Noot in a platoon in LF or CF, with Tucker in RF.Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑24 Oct 2025 09:54 amI thought Noot was a fit for them at the trade deadline and still sort of do, but now that we are to the offseason there are more options available to them and think they will aim higher. Think Jarren Duran or Kyle Tucker. The only reason they might go for someone like Noot instead of them is that they have 3-4 very highly rated OF prospects and Nootbaar could be a bridge to one of them.

Sordid history? Chalk up another “attaboy” under Mozo the Clown’s regime.icon wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 13:52 pmIf Nootbaar had this condition and the Cardinals knew it, why was he playing the last weekend in Chicago? And if the medical staff didn't know it, that's another issue. This franchise has a sordid history of dealing with medical issues.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 07:33 amDo you know what Haglunds deformity is?Bully4you wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 03:12 am Saw that he had surgery on both heels?

Crazy.
So, he may be untradable at this point.
The hits just keep coming, I tell ya!!
https://www.bnd.com/sports/mlb/st-louis ... 76147.htmlseems he played 135 games last year. More than Winn
Now tell us about Donny, Herrera, Winn, KKKorn. They seem to be often injured. Any of these play more games than Snoot?
If say the Cards players, seem to all have injury concerns
Mozo is the Josef Stalin of baseball.

A quick reminder that I am the only person on the planet who correctly advised in each of the past 5 seasons that STL trade Mootbaar - before it was too late.Bully4you wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 03:12 am Saw that he had surgery on both heels?

Nootbaar was never a trade piece. He was always a throw-in
I am never one to say, "I told you so".
I am, however, incredibly prescient and insightful in my branding.

Believe me you're not the be all of thought here. Case in point I knew when they extended Holliday it was going to cause an internal problem with extending Pujols when they should have taken care of their franchise player first. That was just the beginning.
If you're going to paint with a broad brush leave me out.

Not really a Mo basher-i prefer talking about players- But with all the horrible contracts Mo penned, this was one of several he was lucky to lose out on.Goldfan wrote: ↑26 Oct 2025 07:46 amI don’t think we wanted the Angels Pujols years…..11WSChamps wrote: ↑25 Oct 2025 22:03 pmBuddy there's nothing you can tell me about this team's fortunes in the last decade that I haven't mentioned on this forum.Melville wrote: ↑25 Oct 2025 21:53 pmA quick reminder that I am the only person on the planet who correctly advised in each of the past 5 seasons that STL trade Mootbaar - before it was too late.Bully4you wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 03:12 am Saw that he had surgery on both heels?

The STL Cardinal Marketing Company offered a contract just large enough to appear interested in retaining Pujols, but small enough to guarantee is departure.
And it was the right thing to do.

All bashing of Mo is fully deserved. He was clueless. Contracts extended that would’ve been more disasters….2ninr wrote: ↑26 Oct 2025 07:53 amNot really a Mo basher-i prefer talking about players- But with all the horrible contracts Mo penned, this was one of several he was lucky to lose out on.Goldfan wrote: ↑26 Oct 2025 07:46 amI don’t think we wanted the Angels Pujols years…..11WSChamps wrote: ↑25 Oct 2025 22:03 pmBuddy there's nothing you can tell me about this team's fortunes in the last decade that I haven't mentioned on this forum.Melville wrote: ↑25 Oct 2025 21:53 pmA quick reminder that I am the only person on the planet who correctly advised in each of the past 5 seasons that STL trade Mootbaar - before it was too late.Bully4you wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 03:12 am Saw that he had surgery on both heels?

Rather my point is with the poster who thinks he is the only person here who has an original thought.
The hubub with Pujols came about because of the Holliday extension. I said that was the start of the division I never said they should have signed him.
Let's get that straight for you and others here.

Nootbaar appears to have T.O. sickness. Can't seem to stay on the field. When he does, he's terribly over exposed as a mediocre player.Bully4you wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 03:12 am Saw that he had surgery on both heels?
