Let Drink Walk "Horrible Game Coach"
This guy can't game plan or coach up players. If he's in demand elsewhere, let him walk. He only wins at home against horrible teams. His team will be lucky to win another game (Mississippi State). BAD coach!~

Most 4th quarter comebacks, back to back double digit win seasons, has elevated the program to national relevance and is well versed in the intricacies of the transfer portal which is crucial to succeeding in the current landscape and people want him gone.

I'm grateful they were able to comeback and win against Auburn last night, but come on, Auburn is not a good team. Drink's winning percentage against ranked teams since his arrival at Mizzou is about .333.
Mizzou needs to schedule some tougher competition prior to the start of conference play. Ten win seasons mean nothing when half of your wins are against lousy non-conference competition.

I won't argue the point about beating more ranked teams.AntillesHS wrote: ↑19 Oct 2025 10:23 am I'm grateful they were able to comeback and win against Auburn last night, but come on, Auburn is not a good team. Hopefully that's the next step up the ladder.

So, that's now 22 straight games Mizzou has won when they should win

I remember from before Pinkel and I remember after Pinkel till Drink showed up. Sometimes people become victims of their own success... definitely think you need a few more years as top 25 team before taking the risk of going another direction and having the program go backwards. Also, think he is improving every year...not to long ago he was losing the close games. Think we have a great coach who is still developing and could become a Top 10 coach

Yes. Sounds like he learns his schtick from SEC Rants. Re: Let Drink Walk "Horrible Game Coach"
The Auburn game was a trip up game. The Tigers were coming off a tough loss against Alabama and maybe looking forward to Vandy. It was their first road game of the year. Hugh Freeze is on the hotseat and the Auburn players wanted to show well for him. The 88000 Auburn fans were stoked and loud. MU is starting to show vulnerability with an offensive line that wasn't getting a push and a quarterback with unusual mechanics that leads to many sailing passes and difficulty throwing medium and long routes. Auburn really attacked our run game. It was significant to overcome all of these things and win a game. Auburn didn't look like a sub .500 team last night. I hope the coaching staff realizes this is how we will be game planned going forward. The opponents will be stacking the line trying to beat us in the box and daring us to throw.
Re: Let Drink Walk "Horrible Game Coach"
all the talking heads who get paid for their opinions say the same thing about AU. Their D is good enough to win all their games this year. They paid a lot of money for these guys and there front 7 is as good as there is in SEC. You knew going in that they were better than MU's Oline and yet Kirby didn't have effective counter to them. There secondary was their weakest area yet where were the deep shots and yes you can get those off in under 2 seconds.
Eli used to be considered a Offensive guru, he needs to smack Kirby upside the head and get involved more in game planning O as he had bad year last and is regressing this year.
Dudes BTW Eli has done incredible job of rebooting this once dead program, has done incredible job with building projects and working with legislature and donors. His TP work is as good as anyone and his judgement on players potential is outstanding.
they just won an ugly game that in years past they would have lost. they are 6 and 1 to you chowder heads who have unreal expectations and you simpletons want him gone? Bah ha ha thanks rest of us tiger fans needed a good laugh. why don't YOU take a walk.
