1. Bob Tewksbury
2. Bernard Gilkey
3. Pags
4. So Taguchi (he maybe #1 for me).
5. Pedro Guerrero
6. Gregg Jefferies.

I probably have more...
You have some excellent answers here, however .. Pedro Guerrero was 2nd in MVP voting his first full season in St. Louis, and was one of the best hitters in MLB that entire decade.

Forsch might be a little too good for this list. A lot of his numbers aren’t too far off from Wainwright’s.
First of all the criteria is "Non Star" and given that few people outside of St. Louis and many within wouldn't even recognize the name then the appellation of "Non Star" is more than appropriate. Secondly, outside of his two no-hitters, his career numbers are nowhere close to Wainwright.

I said, “a lot” of his numbers aren’t “too far” off.

Strikeouts are the only glaring difference but didn’t seem to affect the bottom line much. Forsch didn’t throw to Yadi either.

I really enjoyed watching John Tudor pitch, but he probably counts as a star, albeit sorta briefly... Ken Dayley was a very underrated 8th inning guy i liked. and of course the tragic downfall of the much-talented Rick Ankiel. ( He looked a lot like Blake Snell when he first arrived, then suddenly couldn't throw strikes).. as far as hitters go, David Eckstein was a very solid SS who rarely struck out, often very lengthy at bats.
