Re: Throwing Pribula under the bus ???
that is what I said in a different thread then got put down. I read the game stats and MU had just about as much yards gained as Bamawinonsports wrote: ↑12 Oct 2025 21:02 pmExactly. There's no reason to play the blame game, when Mizzou took Alabama to the limit. It wasn't Pribula's deficiencies that were the problem or was the coaching staff's.
Pribula had as many yards as Simpson, and the team had nearly as many as the Tide in far fewer plays.
That stats were not off by much.
It was a tough loss. Time to move on to the next game. It is extremely hard to go undefeated in the SEC.

You cannot have watched the same game and thought Pribula did an OK job Saturday. He largely was bad except for the TD passes to Norfleet and Olugbode. Happy feet in the pocket, repeatedly did not see open receivers, off target and threw 2 picks. Then he gets the Tigers within 3 by suddenly coming to life only to throw a horrific INT to end the game when it still could have been won. Bad day at the office. But yeah, he should move on from bad to being good again.mdkieffer wrote: ↑14 Oct 2025 19:32 pmthat is what I said in a different thread then got put down. Re: Throwing Pribula under the bus ???
you flip the qb's and MU wins as Simpson moved the chains on third and especially fourth down. same number of years in system as backups and starts. ty took a real beating in this game and in others and IF he does get dinged and out for a while this is an ordinary CFB team. game with TN should be very entertaining. tho tn's D has a lot of injuries they can score in a hurry.
Beau needs to keep looking DOWNFIELD and do a better job of recognizing where to roll out to. that SEC podcast still thinks he can improve and finish strong which is nice tho they did rightfully criticize him for this game.
going to be very interesting game but did think it was not smart to put everything on Beau's shoulders when he just wasn't getting job done. should have kept pounding it IMO.
will find out what MU FB is all about in these next two road games against solid opponents. SEC is Uber tough up and down the conference this year. Except for UK.

+1. It's ridiculous how these guys think Mizzou hasn't had a very good year. They were ranked 9th in the SEC offseason prospects but are doing very well.winonsports wrote: ↑12 Oct 2025 19:13 pmOnly to someone with an infiority complex who wouldn't know what confidence even isThis staff AND Beau seem to be losing confidence.
Mizzou just went to the wire with a top 5 team.

Even the TD to Norfleet was a huge misread. But he shoe-horned it in there. The slant was WIDE open.icon wrote: ↑14 Oct 2025 20:21 pmYou cannot have watched the same game and thought Pribula did an OK job Saturday. We've had a lot of those in Columbia the last 4-5 years.
It's why we joined the SEC to compete against the best.

Yeah, I'm sure the film study of the Bama game wasn't a very good time for Beau. As Drink likes to say, there was a lot that "we have to get off the tape."Power74 wrote: ↑17 Oct 2025 07:16 amEven the TD to Norfleet was a huge misread. But he shoe-horned it in there. Give the rookie who was a winner in college a chance, and it may just pick up the whole team and get some wins
