Yardage wise, the defense has just been outstanding. A few big plays has allowed more points than we probably should have, plus a couple miscues by the offense has led to points. But to give up under 200 ypg? As they say, that’ll play. Excited to see what we do against Bama who has a very strong passing game. They’ll be a legit test.

Kind of funny how just beating the Dawgs in Georgia will play when they come to Columbia.Armchair QB wrote: ↑02 Oct 2025 16:42 pm Yardage wise, the defense has just been outstanding. Not known as well as a fierce opposing building as Georgia for them but the place will be rocking and I expect the crowd to be a 12th man for them and maybe different than what 'Bama is expecting.
Yet another huge game for a long long time Missouri fan to yearn for a win amongst a long long time string of huge games.
Bring it home boys!

Mizzou has played the 103 toughest schedule thus far. Run defense is elite. The pass defense needs vast improvement. Hopefully it’s mainly communication cleanup. They have a bunch of 4 stars on the field, so it shouldn’t be a lack of talent.

bama's QB is very good and accurate and their receivers are 5 star and outstanding. MU will most likely go on long marches involving a lot of runs and short passes where Beau is elite. probably see how this reworked D is and don't be surprised if Williams has huge game and they score on some long go routes.
for first time in ages MU should be competitive with Bama and could be a shootout as Bama doesn't have much of a pass rush but then if Green's not in there they could generate one. Lot of very quick passes negates any pass rush anyway and like when CD was the QB just an extension of the running game.
who knows but very optimistic and time for Tigers to ROAR on a national stage.
