Good for him! Nearly $900,000 to play hockey is a pretty good gig.

Great, I guess we can't sign McDavid now.
Re: Two More Years For Dingo
Love it. If his and Holloway’s intensity can rub off on Kyrou, it’ll be worth every penny.

Exactly this. A player that plays with that much gumption jumpstarts the team...the chemistry and leading by example is more than stats can offer.

He'll play even bigger and tougher with Milan Lucic riding shotgun on his line.

Only thre Gerrys and the true Old-School "Cranks" will get this- Like the Waner Brothers for the Pittsburgh Nationals....Mr.Snuggleupagus wrote: ↑18 Sep 2025 17:14 pm He'll play even bigger and tougher with Milan Lucic riding shotgun on his line.

Yeah, I'm an old fart and I get what you're saying. But in reference to Walker, I don't believe he can up his 100% all the time every time. And therefore, obviously, I agree with all my Blues Talk brothers who are positivly pleased with his heart and spirit.

He could start literally biting ankle's when he's out there(in addition to the hits and fights, obviously).Blues Dave wrote: ↑19 Sep 2025 13:21 pmMr.Snuggleupagus wrote: ↑18 Sep 2025 17:14 pm He'll play even bigger and tougher with Milan Lucic riding shotgun on his line.

Dadgummit. I thought some fan of ancient National League Baseball would enjoy my comparison of Lucic and Walker to Paul and Lloyd Wayner of the Pirates...
Pauls was "Big" and played RF and had over 3k hits. Lloyd was "Little" and played Center. He would have had 3k hits as well, but had an appendix issue that cost him two years and his health . They hold the record for most hits by brothers, outpacing all three DiMaggios, all three Alous, both Torres, and both Boyer brothers.
They were called "Big Poison" and "Little Poison".
